Yesterday started out so great I ran, cooked, and finished some important work…shortly there after was difficult for me…I took on the energy of a gossip and allowed my spirit to crumble for about an hour…what a pity I took part in this pity party!
A friend of mine went out of her way to keep her conversation positive this week…she saved someone her grief…why share negative??!! It serves no one.
I eventually got away to rock out and finished my day with pure joy!
But I should of done it sooner!
A good rule of thumb…if some chats to u about others…they will certainly talk to others about u! Smiling and nodding helps no one either…and ya will carry that negative energy away if ya allow these kinds of people in.
Self preservation is OK! Next time…I walk away!
Today should be much better and luckily the time I lost taught me a lesson. After all this is about keeping it positive and Real!
4.Practice positive affirmation. One of the most popular positive thinking exercises is positive affirmation. This means you repeat a positive phrase(your mantra) to yourself on a regular basis like mine”Amber is the Color of your Energy” this reminds me I am young, happy, loved, lucky, a dreamer, a yoga gifter, and to stay present! This phrase from my favorite song reminds me of my most centered and positive me! Other examples…”I deserve to be happy” or “I am worthy of love”. Believing that these things are true, and reminding yourself of it can help give you a more positive outlook on life in the moment.
1.Today I will stop and recite my mantra at least 5 times.
Today I will enjoy Friday like the rockstar I am!
Today I will reflect on 4 days of bliss with no inner party pooper!
Stay positive, keep moving forward mind and body to keepskinny!
